Quality & Process Coordinator

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality and Process Coordinator will have the responsibility for assisting with the identification, development and implementation of processes to continuously improve manufacturing procedures that will improve yields, reduce defects and increase productivity. Additionally, the Quality and Process Coordinator will investigate quality issues to determine both root cause and preventative measures.
The Quality and Process Coordinator will bring to this role a strong belief in the value of standard operating procedures and lean manufacturing practices to deliver the highest quality products to the FYidoctors/Visique patients.
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Work with the lab leadership team to determine quality and productivity opportunities for assessment, review and engineering
- Ensure quality issues don’t affect delivery and have negative impacts on our clinics and patients
- Support in coaching and training conversations with TL’s and Managers as needed
- Using a scientific approach, develop testing processes to evaluate current practices and procedures and compare to new procedures in a process of continuous improvement
- Using data and graphs, present testing results to leadership and make recommendations for changes and go forward activities
- Drive to improve product quality and operating procedures through the systematic analysis and trending of lab data
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly Quality reporting
- Assist as needed with the CAPA process as it relates to quality and processes improvements
- Work with the lab leadership team to identify and isolate non conformances within the production process through reject analysis
- Provide clear concise communication to vendors on known quality issues when required. Working with those same vendors towards a resolution.
- Have a passion for LEAN practices and the process of continuous improvement
- As a part of the coaching team, participate and help create an engaged culture that is built on trust, accountability and results
- Active participation in documentation development.

- Solid analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across departments in a matrix organization
- Enthusiastic champion of quality and lean manufacturing practises and a passion for continuous improvement
- Proven ability to implement process and quality improvement to deliver efficiency and value to the organization
- Ability to plan and organize working time and to multitask as required
- A willingness to listen and be open to new ideas to improve processes that impact quality and operations
- Ability to manage daily details and deliver on larger projects and process improvements
**_ Qualifications (Education, Experience and Training):_**
- A diploma or degree in a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing facility
- Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement practices
- Experience with ERP, LMS (lab management software)

**Salary Range: $46,500 - $56,000**
