Voltage Power Ltd, a subsidiary of Aecon Utilities, is a design build high voltage electrical contracting firm that provides the highest quality in products and services for electrical utilities, independent power producers and large power users.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the quality field team to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of the installation of overhead & underground utility infrastructure.
**What You Will Do Here**:
- Review project details and ensure that the project quality plan aligns with client requirements
- Organize and support quality field staff to ensure quality requirements on the project are being met
- Communicate effectively with onsite construction management team to coordinate and optimize Quality and production activity schedules
- Manage and enter QMS data into various excel tracker spreadsheets
- Develop, revise, and maintain quality assurance checklist(s)
- Complete required project quality field inspections
- Take a quality lead role on projects
- Complete required project quality documentation and submit to the client for review
- Update quality SharePoint as necessary
- Assist the Quality Manager with creating quality plans, manuals, and procedures
- Maintain files and correspondence on active and completed projects
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments
- Maintain document control system, including the revision control and distribution of contract documents, IFC drawings and RFIs
- Other administrative duties as required
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Effective collaboration with Superintendent to support all crewing and project needs.
- Available to travel to and/or locate at project assignments across Canada and beyond as required.

**What You Will Bring to the Team**:
- Education to include technical college diploma or combination of technical training and/or related experience.
- Experience in utility contracting industry in quality and/or construction is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven people and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals
- Strong communication, written and presentation skills
- Proven ability to utilize current technologies, i.e., computer skills
- Highly proficient with MS Office suite - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Proven ability to take initiative and leadership
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to resolve project disputes with mínimal assistance.
- Availability to collaboratively work within both an office and site environment.
- Ability to inspire and foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and co-workers.
- Sound computer skills - MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project required.
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.
