**Role Summary**

Reporting to the Head of Assurance for the GO Expansion Program the role forms part of the Integrated Program Delivery Team (IPDT).

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all management systems and processes are in place to facilitate an industry leading approach to quality management that meets with the specified standards and aligned with Metrolinx existing QMS.

Key to this is ensuring lessons learnt are implemented and processes continually improved to deliver the Program in the most efficient manner.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement Quality Management System during the services definition phase, integrating with the wider IPDT team
- Participate in setting the department vision, mission and objectives and follow up of its achievement
- Assist in the development of completion and handover plans demonstrating compliance to design, engineering, systems, local authority and technical standards
- Establish a performance and measurement process which provide quality assurance data & metrics to the Program & Project Control Team for reporting purposes. Prepare the required Quality KPIs Dashboard along with supported documentation.
- Promote a right first-time culture whilst ensuring any defects are corrected in a timely manner. Management of Non-Conformities to ensure timely resolution including identifying and implementing Corrective Actions as required.
- Participate in providing quality training, including the preparation of training materials and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
- Participate in revisiting and updating, if required, the Quality Management System Documentation.
- Ensure that delivery organizations have appropriate systems and processes in place to manage and assure quality of all construction and installations from design through to handover. (can’t measure “ensuring” anything - what is the actual responsibility of the Lead?)
- Conduct regular site visits, as directed by the Head of Assurance, and report the outcome of visits.
- Participate in the preparation of Quality Audit Programs, schedule and coordinate internal and external audits of the relevant processes and vendors.
- Participate in the preparation of the management review process (agenda, attendance, invitation, report, etc.)
- Liaise with the different stockholders to manage the process of lessons learned and best practice

**Qualifications**

**Education**: Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme or Project Management disciplines

**Years of experience**: 10+

**Technical Competencies**:
In addition to mandatory training courses:

- Lead Auditor for ISO 9001
- CMQ/OE certification or equivalent is an advantage
- Have registered on and are working towards professional qualification (e.g. APM, PMI, IRM, IEMA) is an advantage
- Relevant CSCS Card
