We are currently seeking a **Hydrogeology Co-op Student **to join our Hydrogeology & Geothermal West team. This position will be based out of our Saskatoon or Regina office.

Job duties

  • Hydrogeological field work, including groundwater sampling, slug testing, pumping tests and drilling; Surface water and seep sampling will also be conducted.
  • Planning, coordination, and support for the execution of field programs, including intrusive investigations.
  • Supporting intermediate and senior personnel in reviewing and analyzing data from field investigations.
  • Collaboration with other hydrogeologists throughout the country.
  • Ensuring appropriate Quality Management System is applied on team's projects.
  • Participation in health and safety programs.

**requirements**

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Enrolled in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Geology
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time appropriately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language; French language skills are an asset.
  • Must be able and willing to travel for work away from the home office.
  • Ability to work independently and safely with mínimal supervision and/or as a member of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
