**Are you interested in being involved behind the scenes and assisting with the daily flow of our products? Payzant is looking for a Home Room Receiver**
**The Receiver performs duties related to receiving and shipping merchandise. Verifies merchandise is accounted for, correct, and helps to organize product distribution in the most effective and efficient manner.**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**- **
Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, fix/report all accidents and safety hazards observed. Take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.**
- ** **Answer phones in a polite and timely manner. Immediately addresses and resolves lapses in customer service.**
- ** Receives merchandise. Checks and signs delivery slips, assists with unloading as necessary.**
- ** **Unpacks merchandise, verifies the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents.**
- ** **Accepts or returns merchandise according to established procedures, calculates prices according to guidelines and affixes bar codes, prices, and security tags as necessary.**
- ** **Completes different forms and prepares documents while keeping up to date, accurate files.**
- ** **Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise. Makes necessary verifications against documents, prepares the merchandise and sorts accordingly.**
- ** **Handle customer pick-ups as required.**
- ** **Familiar with store layout and aware of current store promotions.**
- ** **Able to search and find availability of other locations.**
- ** **Contact resource people for various information. Contacts transport companies and suppliers to expedite, trace or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.**
- ** ** Participates in taking inventory. Maintains storage area, organizes, and helps place stock on shelves. Ensures area is always secure.**
- ** **Any other items assigned by management.**:** REQUIREMENTS**
