SUMMARY
By fostering relationships within the facilities and community, the Culture Coordinator promotes awareness for Metro Supply Chain culture programs and activities. In addition, this position is responsible for creating a positive work environment through the coordination and facilitation of employee experiences and events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs, recommends and implements (approved) employee positive recognition programs and employee relations programs.
- Coordinates and executes employee celebrations and events including but not limited to employee BBQ’s and lunches, thematic events, etc.
- Coordinates and administers employee communication programs, including but not limited to: bulletin boards, visual displays, shift start up communications, diversity awareness, town hall/general meetings.
- Coordinates and supports the management team with analysis regarding the annual Employee Engagement Survey as well as periodic micro surveys throughout the year.
- Liaison with community partners and internal stakeholders to promote annual Charity events, etc.
- Experience with Canva
- Manages uniform accounts and allowances.
- Digital signage management and development.
- Supports with addressing team member questions and concerns.
- Works with Operations on deployment of branding across the facilities
- Facility start up coordination and ordering
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in event planning/coordination preferably within the Logistics/Supply Chain industry.
