We are looking for someone who will be the main contact for all HR-related affairs at our Ontario location. In addition, this role also assumes diverse office tasks as required by the location. This hybrid position will be required to work on site at our Mississauga location 3 days a week and will report directly to the Manager of People & Culture.

As the key liaison between the People & Culture department and our Ontario team, the People & Culture Coordinator will establish relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendor contacts. Furthermore, this position will contribute the accountability of overseeing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring its efficiency and accuracy.

**Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate and communicate the Culture and Core Values of the company.
- Maintain ongoing communications with employees; acting as a liaison between employees and administration, and as a resource for employees to speak with regarding company matters in a private manner, with a focus on the Ontario employees.
- Provide assistance with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties which include but is not limited to, assisting with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and assisting payroll.
- Maintain accurate data in HRIS system and be a contact person for HRIS employee help.
- Assist in overseeing & maintaining the approved Job Descriptions.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding as well as Coordinate training sessions and seminars and HR Events.
- Assist with performance administration procedures.
- Assist the P&C team in the completion of compensation and benefit documentation and assist in the benefits enrollment process.
- Oversee and participate in the JOH&S Committee and assist in administration of all H&S records.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as requested.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
- Assist the Director of People & Culture as needed.
- Additional Office Administrative duties as needed.

**Education and Experience**
- 2 years of experience as an HR Assistant/Coordinator.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems preferred.
- Exposure to Labour Law and employment equity regulations. Provincial and federal guidelines.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- CHRP Designation or working toward.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment as an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
