As an essential member of the team reporting to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications, you are the quarterback who will support the full team of corporate communications leaders, internally and externally and across the business, to get it done - with impact.

**Responsibilities**:

- Digital content publishing and management of all MDA Space owned media channels (MDA Space website, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, 1MDA global intranet)
- Assist in the development and implementation of integrated marketing communications plans involving a range of tactics, teams and projects
- Help draft, produce, proof and perfect compelling written and visual digital and marketing content for internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external communications editorial calendars
- Liaise with internal colleagues, external suppliers/vendors and stakeholders
- Coordinate revision, approvals, production and distribution of communication materials (e.g., videos, blogs, posters, brochures, guides, newsletters, advertisements etc.) and liaise with suppliers and internal colleagues to ensure products meet objectives and specifications, on time and within budget
- Attend MDA Space events, when needed
- Own and update awards program calendar
- Upload and schedule press releases on wire service and MDA Space website
- Coordinate new MDA Space merch for online store and events and manage warehouse fulfillment relationship
- Manage/update MDA Space digital asset management tool (Brandfolder) with current and new digital assets
- Perform other related duties, as required

**Your qualifications and experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a designated communications, public relations, digital/content marketing related position, ideally within a technology company or Marketing/PR agency.
- Experience with social media content, channels and publishing (Sprout Social is an asset)
- Marketing campaign management experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with experience in managing multiple, diverse projects and tight deadlines with autonomy, while maintaining timely, high-quality work across the team
- Comfortable with technology and a level of excitement around learning new platforms
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of team, as well under pressure on multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communications, writing, and multimedia skills.
