**The Role**:
As Fleet Manager you report to the Director of Operations, and will be accountable for the following:

- Manage pickup drivers (our full-time team) and their dispatch and the process of picking up all same-day parcels from our merchants daily
- Manage to drop off drivers (our full-time team as well as on-demand drivers) and their dispatch process for delivery of all same-day parcels
- Coach drivers in best practices and implement tracking and evaluation to identify great and not-great drivers
- Manage FT driver payroll
- Comfortable with technology and tech tools so to be responsible for the bundling and optimization process for pickups and drop-offs
- Coordinate with tech team to help to troubleshoot driver, driver app, and merchant issues during pickup dispatch, pickup, and drop-off dispatch
- Help coordinate returns and their retrieval back into the sorting center
- Partner with Warehouse leads to trouble-shoot issues during receive/sort/scan/depart during the day and how it pertains to the pickup/drop-off and bundling/optimization process
- Be an overall problem solver and be willing and capable of tackling issues as they arise in an explosively growing start-up environment, act as an owner of the business

**Requirements**:

- Min 2 years of experience working with Owner Operated vehicles and individuals
- Min 2 years of experience troubleshooting driver issues
- Ability to work with different tech tools
- Proven ability to multitask
- Proven ability to negotiate
