Purpose of the Position:
The **Accounts Receivable Clerk** is responsible for the collection and processing of tenant and owner payments and monitoring bank account activity. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will collaborate with operational staff and Property Accountants toward the analysis and resolution of tenant issues related to accounts receivable. The individual will also assist the overall accounting group with month-end tasks.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

- Maintain, administer, and process EFT banking details and file transmission, deposit and record receipts for the Real Estate Property Management Saskatchewan division portfolio.
- Produce A/R reports, review sub-ledgers (i.e. tenant A/R aging, prepaid rents) and reconcile to GL control accounts; attend internal A/R meetings to provide status update on tenant arrears, collection actions taken to date, and discuss charges/invoices as required.
- Support Property Accountants in the processing of year-end recovery adjustment calculations and tenant chargeback invoices.
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and solve problems.
- Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
- Special projects and other duties.

**Required Skills**:

- Graduate of a recognized business school.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive accounts receivable or accounts payable experience.
- Independent, self-starter, team player.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
