We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk works closely with the accounting and property management teams to undertake an assortment of accounting related duties within a diverse portfolio. This position is centered around receiving, processing, and verifying all payables.

**Responsibilities**

**Accounts Payable**:

- Managing and sorting all incoming bills.
- Accurately entering bills into property management software (Yardi) or QuickBooks Online.
- Professionally responding to vendor inquiries.
- Reviewing vendor statements and credit card statements to ensure that all payables have been captured and following up on bills that have not been received.

**Accounting**:

- Reconciling and billing recoverable expenses.
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards.
- Assisting accountants with the preparation of month-end financial reports.
- Calculating and billing monthly management fees.

**General**:

- Follow all internal systems and processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Experience with accounts payable.
- Can-do attitude.
- Willingness to help where needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
