ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Deal/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team with Dilawri Group of Companies. The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process New and Pre-Owned Vehicles sales

  • Ensure that correct payments are received

  • Verify that sales documentation is complete (i.e., signatures, appraisals on trades, dealer install options, etc.)

  • Balance gross with General Manager commission sheet and account for variance

  • After posting, check balances of inventory and receivables schedules

  • Process daily bank transactions in a timely manner

  • Clearing and reconciliation of bank accounts daily

  • Processing daily deposits

  • Manage various related schedules and accounts

  • Process and reconcile intercompany accounts

  • Responsible for effectively communicating, assisting, and collaborating with all internal and external clients

  • Take ownership of issues and ensure a successful resolution

ABOUT YOU

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Experience for posting deals is an asset

  • Previous accounting experience required

  • Dealership experience is an asset

  • CDK/OneEighty experience considered an asset

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

  • Ability to work independently

  • Organizational ability and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
