Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for the car dealership and loan business.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily original content (text, images, videos, HTML) tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Kijiji, etc.).
- Take and upload high-quality photos and videos of vehicles, including new cars and specials, and share promotional offers.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews in a timely and professional manner to nurture community engagement and resolve issues.
- Manage and optimize targeted advertising campaigns—especially during sales events—across relevant social channels.
- Regularly update the websites and online galleries with accurate and appealing vehicle listings and financial product offers.
- Report on key performance metrics for campaigns and audience engagement and recommend improvements.
- Stay informed on social media trends and emerging technologies and maintain brand consistency across all channels.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role in automotive, financial services, or related sectors.
- Proficiency with major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Kijiji), analytics tools, and social media management suites (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Strong photo and video editing skills; familiar with design tools (Adobe Suite or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create compelling, brand-appropriate content.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze digital campaigns, track leads, and report performance.
- Highly organized, creative, and results-driven with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented \with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Fluency in English
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
