**JOB OVERVIEW**

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Project Leader.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Assist Supervisor and staff with coordinating and controlling defined stages of project management in accordance with Project Management governance for assigned projects or project packages in various project phases, as circumstances require.
- Assist with implementing approved Project Management processes for phase-gating, integration, scope, schedule, cost, change control, estimating, communications and reporting, and risk.
- Supporting projects involving power generation and balance of plant.
- Supporting project delivery by assisting senior staff with planning, coordination, and execution across scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
- Engaging stakeholders through effective communication, site visits, and documentation to help meet project objectives and resolve issues.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 4-year university degree plus completion of post-secondary courses in project management and business economics as it relates to project and asset management or the equivalent level of education
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in infrastructure or energy projects.
- Familiarity with hydroelectric project components (e.g., dams, turbines, powerhouses) is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools such as Primavera, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of document control systems and version management best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.

- The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods. Maintaining a high-performance culture and excellence is a core expectation of every member of our leadership team and is rewarded through the established compensation framework.
