There is currently a requirement for a new Service Writer to full-fill the customer service and customer/shop liaison duties.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Service Writer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Greeting customers bringing in and/or picking up their parts for coating
- Reviewing parts with customer to understand their coating needs
- Assessing and recommending precautions if necessary
- Documenting specific instructions for shop to complete work
- Communicating with shop manager for technical help or timing of completion
- Reviewing completed parts for quality control
- Calling customers to pick up their parts
- Creating customer invoices using QuickBooks
- Keeping show room tidy, miscellaneous filing and organizing

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities
- Secondary school graduate
- Ability to work with public in a courteous and professional manner
- Demonstrated computer, typing and phone skills an asset
- Good judgment, initiative, and careful attention to detail are important in this roll
- Tidy and punctual
- Diverse knowledge of mechanical aptitude a definite asset
- Organized and ability to adapt in an ever changing and fast paced atmosphere
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Willingness to accept instruction and give feedback
- Ability to lift up to 50lb occasionally

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
