**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for organizing the logistics, communication, marketing and hosting of digital programs and in-person events for middle/high school and post-secondary students/youth, as well as creating and maintaining the program content and communication logistics on C2I.

With the organizational purpose of engaging youth in developing an innovation mindset within the design thinking, STEM innovation and entrepreneurial space, and supporting teachers in experiential learning and project-based learning practices, the coordinator will lead the direct outreach for C2I learning opportunities, Tech Futures Challenge events, and collaborate with MindFuel program delivery partners.

This role reports to the Director of Programs, is a member of the Programs team, and works also with the Marketing & Communications department, and requires a blend of administrative expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate program and event logistics for Tech Futures Challenge and coordinate outreach for learning opportunities through C2I for middle/high school & post-secondary student teams, team advisors, mentors, and community educators.
- Facilitate relationship building with partners, and manage their C2I digital platform experience, including onboarding and maintaining their learning opportunities and content on C2I.
- Organize and facilitate the storytelling of MindFuel program participants’ learning and journey with the innovation process in MindFuel’s brand voice.
- Share knowledge with the greater community through direct outreach, social media and events communication, such as student workshops, professional learning workshops, presentations, and conferences.
- Support data collection, analysis, and on-going program evaluation for future development.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate recruitment efforts for program participants and staff.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in STEM education, event coordination, marketing, communication or digital media with a focus on youth or education, or related work experience.
- Passion for empowering, inspiring and supporting youth in developing knowledge, skills and competencies in STEM, innovation, digital technology, and entrepreneurialism.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with youth from diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and abilities, including underrepresented youth in STEM, such as Indigenous, newcomers and rural/remote communities.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment either in-person or remotely.
- Excellent presentation skills & high comfort level speaking to students, educators, organizations and general public.
- Ability to set objectives in support of vision and translate it into action.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

- This full-time, fixed term position is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
