**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of conferences and banquets, ensuring client satisfaction from initial inquiry through to event completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions that enhance their experience.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote conference and banqueting services, driving business growth through effective outreach.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining budgetary constraints.
- Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Train and manage staff involved in event operations, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of event bookings, budgets, and expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
- Address any guest concerns or issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction throughout the event process.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel or restaurant settings.
- Strong marketing skills with a track record of successful upselling techniques.
- Excellent guest service orientation with a focus on creating memorable experiences for clients.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to secure advantageous contracts and partnerships.
- Solid budgeting abilities to manage event costs effectively while maximizing profitability.
- Outstanding time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
