Application Analyst

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Take ownership of production issues and work with IT vendors to get them resolved in a timely manner and ensure customer satisfaction
- Support issue triaging by identifying the nature of the issue and distribute the issue to the appropriate party to work on (internal or external)
- For issues to be addressed internally, work towards troubleshooting and / or resolving issues
- Up keeping client-side communications by providing status / progress updates
- Issue resolution tracking and reporting for management

Work with business teams to ensure that the configurations of the business systems are kept aligned with changing business needs.

Monitor various system and data health; identify and report anomalies

Identify chronic issues and work with business and internal teams to get a permanent resolution for chronic issues

Work in the capacity of a business analyst to deliver new / enhancements to software solutions
- Business requirements gathering with stakeholders (internal / external)
- Document change / enhancement scope (CR/BR/Story/SR/Data Mapping)
- Liaise with build team during build cycle to clarify / elaborate requirements
- Participate in UAT cycle to serve as a gatekeeper of the quality of the output
- Enhancement launch planning, including activities such as user training and outbound communications

Ability to work in a hybrid workplace, partially remote and also physically in the office located in the Greater Toronto area

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**SKILLS **required
- Possess excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suites; Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient with VISIO, JIRA and Helpdesk related tools
- Experience working with a diverse and/or remote team
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness in the work produced/performed
- Able to progressively take on more duties as the business evolves
- Knowledge and awareness of ITIL and ITSM process and practises is an asset
- Automotive Finance analytical skills is an asset

**EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ years of experience in IT support/ business analyst experience
- Experience in SQL Server or any other database
- Previous work experience in the Automotive Finance sector an asset
- Experience in Salesforce and Financial system is considered an asset.

**EDUCATION**
- University in related field or equivalent required
- Business Analyst and ITIL certifications are an asset
