Job Summary
Responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships including coordinating, communicating, and executing all day-to-day activities with both Hospital and Caribbean stakeholders. Also primary responsibility for end-to-end management of all hospital contracts and Caribbean Tenders this includings monitoring as well as submitting, managing, and executing all contractual agreements related to hospital and Caribbean Departments.
Act as the primary GPO and Caribbean sales support lead by demonstrating a proficient understanding in all aspects of both hospital and Caribbean department by ensuring customer requirements are understood and communicated. As required, work in close collaboration with the Assoicate Director, Hospital & Specialty and Associate Director, SFE & Caribbean Sales to execute divisional sales strategies, manage contract compliance, develop customer relationships, and generate new business.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the Hospital RFP and Caribbean Sales process including tender monitoring, market research, pricing, proposal composition, negotiation, presentation/submission, documentation requirements, follow ups, and ongoing maintenance for both departments.
Ensure full understanding of customers strategic priorities and expectations in order to monitor and report progress, with focus on process and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Coordinate with the sales, marketing, and commercial finance teams to understand customer and product priorities, ensuring alignment and flawless execution of commercial strategies. This includes complete review of current products, competitive backorders, contract or Tender non-complieance as well as upcoming launches.
Liase with all relevant internal groups to ensure awareness of open and closed RFPs and all applicable details.
Provide prompt and efficient customers Service, both verbally and written, when processing, verifying, and resolving customer issues that may negatively affect the customer experience.
Review key performance metrics on a regular basis to ensure the achievement of the established annual goals; revise and execute strategies as needed to ensure goals are achieved.
Manage relationships and financial exchange between Apotex and its competitors with respect to mitigating hospital and Tender supply penalties.
Manage Ariba uploads, opex budgeting, promo account management and Cheque requests.
Develop and execute custom reporting for customers and internal account management teams by extracting and analyzing sales data with the inclusion of Competitor information and pricing.
Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends and issues through regular contact with customers and participation at national industry events.
Assist in launch and ongoing supply of products, working closely with customers and Demand Planning, Project Leaders, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and New Product Launch as required to ensure customer requirements are met often on a bi-weekly basis to mitigate penalties and allocate to reduce supply disruptions.
Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements
Education
University degree or equivalent with a strong understanding of corporate operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Pharmaceutical knowledge or business management experience is an asset.
Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent oral & written communication skills in both English and French.
Flexibility in dealing with constantly changing priorities and work loads.
Attention to detail.
Customer service, pricing systems and finance knowledge and/or experience.
**Working knowledge in the following software packages**: Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and SAP.
Experience
5-10 years experience is business environment.
Very strong analytical skills and related experience required.
