**Position Overview**
HTA 75 is seeking a Coordinator & Assistant Instructor, Hospitality Programs to support the in-class instruction of pre-employment, human skills, and hospitality vocational training programs. This role will collaborate with a team of Program Specialists and support staff to ensure all program participants receive the necessary support through their employment and training journey.
**Key Accountabilities**
**1. Contribute to the development and instruction of training materials and resources by**:
- Supporting the delivery of hospitality workforce readiness training programs, webinars, and workshops online and in-person including HTA 75’s English, leadership, and computer literacy programs.
- Delivering engaging and accessible training to meet the needs of participants at various proficiency levels of speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Collaborating with the Program Specialist and programs team to create individual learning plans that aim to improve or exceed learning and performance outcomes.
- Supporting the evaluation process of each participant's performance during training, identifying areas for improvement, and providing employability recommendations to the team.
**2. Provide overall program support by**:
- Supporting outreach efforts to external community members and incumbent workers to enroll in training programs.
- Respond to prospective and current participant inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Contributing to the course evaluation process to identify areas for improvement in each program.
- Collaborating with the program team to develop and improve training and learning curriculums, modules, and programs based on employer and industry feedback, participant feedback, and identified areas for improvement.
- Supporting the planning and execution of all training programs, including inventory and supply management, course materials, and other logistics as required.
- Supporting the development of communications materials related to program delivery and outreach with the Programs Team.
- Accurately track and record all data in Salesforce, including attendance, assessments, evaluations, and outcomes.
- Attending and supporting outreach events, such as job fairs, outreach days, and other engagement events with community organizations and employer partners.
- Representing HTA 75 in all public spaces, including conferences, networking events, and other community and industry outreach
**Role Requirements**
- This is a hybrid position and while some parts of this position can be completed at-home in a virtual setting, this position **has a significant in-person requirement** and **requires attendance various training sites, employer properties, and other meeting spaces across the Greater Toronto Area.**:
- This position will require **work outside of standard business hours**. HTA75 programs reflect the needs of the hospitality workforce and its availability for training and support.
- **This position will be required to work evenings and weekends.**
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and task prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and virtual meeting technology such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong commitment to working collaboratively in a team and to advancing worker potential and economic opportunities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
**Compensation & Benefits**
- This role will receive an competitive annual salary of **$55,000 - 60,000 CAD** (pro-rated through the length of the contract, if applicable)
