**About Our Opportunity**:
Northern RNA is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time) to join our Finance team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including receiving processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payables
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Reconciling invoices to the purchase orders
- Overseeing the payables aging, building strong working relationship with suppliers
- Process full cycle payroll for 50 plus employees
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes
- Verifying employees’ work hours and payment through the payroll system, issuing deductions, earnings, and other statements to employees, and updating payroll records regularly
- Supports the accounting close and oversees reconciliation of payroll
- and accounts payable-related accounts.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks and additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

May perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Education and knowledge of basic accounting
- One or more years’ experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar programs such as QuickBooks, or Simply Accounting
- Exposure to HRIS & Time Management systems
- Detail oriented and organized
- Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with the ability to work independently

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
