Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures and preparing and monitoring the payroll system.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Prepare batches of invoice for data entry
- Data enter invoices for payment
- Process backup reports after data entry
- Manage the weekly cheque run
- Record all cheques, prepare vendor cheques for mailing, and log all vendor cheques
- Maintain listing of accounts payable and the general ledger

**Requirements**:

- At least 1 - 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bookkeeping skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision making skills, stress and time management skills, effective organizational skills and high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Previous automotive accounting experience an asset but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $44,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
