JOB TITLE: Finance Administrator
JOB PURPOSE: Assist in activities for the Rust-Oleum Canada (ROCA) Finance department.
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: Senior Divisional Controller
STATUS: Regular, Full Time
TRAVEL: None
LOCATION: Concord, ON
Rust-Oleum Canada (ROCA) is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. We offer a wide range of market leading brands in small project paints, wood care and high performance coatings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist on the month end close process
- Develop weekly forecast of sales and operating income
- Assist on monthly account reconciliations
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual Variance analysis
- Assist in setting annual plans
- Participation in other activities and projects as assigned
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Intermediate level Accounting, Finance and Analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent written and oral communication
- Advanced organization, accuracy and administrative skills to ensure and maintain a high level of data integrity
- Strong ability to manage time and priorities in a deadline driven and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with a positive attitude and persistent aptitude for following up with external clients
- Capable of good tact, judgment and diplomacy in handling communication with customers and internal clients
- Strong creative problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and requests will be essential
- Ability to work well under pressure and work extra hours when needed to complete requests and projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Accounting Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Accounting
- 2+ years’ experience with SAP would be considered a strong asset
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
