**The Role**:
It is imperative that the coordinator is professional, well-organized, and reliable, with a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential business matters. **Areas of Accountability**:
The Estimator & Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for:
1. Estimate Development
- Preparing multi-discipline estimates, including but not limited to, electrical, automation, instrumentation and controls, mechanical, and process engineering.
- Developing cost estimates in consultation with technical staff, using Catch forms and procedures, ensuring that all labour, equipment, and material costs are accurate and current.

2. Proposal Development
- Evaluating proposal specifications and scope.
- Communicating with Project Managers, Engineers, and other technical staff to clarify, understand and validate the project scope, risks, deliverables, assumptions, exceptions and exclusions.
- Writing proposal documents and supporting materials that are clear, concise, and in compliance with client specifications.
- Updating CRM with proposal details and status changes, to improve data collection on win / loss metrics.
- Organizing meetings and maintaining documentation of said meetings.

**Qualification Requirements**:
Along with an enthusiastic and professional attitude, you must also have:

- A related post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate
- 4+ years of experience in technical estimate and proposal development, with thorough knowledge of estimating processes and industry standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel
- Familiarity with CRM and MS Project
- Advanced technical writing skills
- Proven skills in handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities
- Ability to foster professional relationships with people from a variety of technical backgrounds and skill sets
