**We are growing again We are looking to expand our team.**

As a full-time Intermediate Estimator, you will be responsible to ensure budgets accurately reflect material and labour costs to build each of our homes provide accurate and timely proformas on each home sold and built verifying costs and margin expectations. You pride yourself on expediting the process in your estimating role to minimize time in the office and have the homes in the field and under construction.

What you will bring to the table:

- Post secondary certificate or diploma from SAIT/NAIT in Architectural/Estimating Technology.
- Residential construction experience in estimating, quantity takeoffs, pricing options and architectural revisions, and file preparation for processing to the field
- Ability to analyze and understand the implications of changes to home plans
- Ability to understand and analyze costing implications of material or product changes to home plans.
- Assist in providing accurate, detailed, and timely pricing for all price requests from Sales issuing change agreements.
- Review and process variance purchase orders to trades and suppliers as necessary.
- Understanding of basic scopes of work for various trades
- Support the Construction team throughout all stages of construction by assisting with questions and concerns quickly to solve the challenge.
- Basic understanding of a new home construction schedule
- Ability to meet deadlines while providing high-quality work.
- Understanding of the process involved with managing budgets, options, pricing strategy is an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including competence with MS Office Suite, FAST, Buildpro, ERP experience an asset.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation skills.
