Solmar Development Corp. is a Vaughan based real estate development firm which acquires, develops, and builds low and high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial assets throughout Ontario. Solmar Development Corp. has an extensive team of real estate professionals involved in all aspects of the acquisition, development, and construction of its portfolio.

Solmar’s Accounting Team is seeking an Accounting Administrator to join the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in accounts payables.
- Assist with bank reconciliations.
- Post journal entries for various companies.
- Ensure EHT, WSIB & Employee Payroll Deductions are reported and remitted monthly.
- Report and remit monthly Union Dues.
- Maintaining HR manual.
- Processing new staff in payroll software.
- Process all enrolments for group benefits.
- Review and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll.
- Issue ROE’s when needed.
- Report HST filings.
- Review and submit all accounts payable invoices once they have met the general requirements.
- Handle subcontractor inquiries.
- Assist with reviewing and processing LOI/Contract PO’s for all projects.
- Process all general PO’s in Newstar.
- File and maintain all HST, Property Tax, and Land Acquisition files.
- Provide any additional assistance required by the Director of Finance.

Qualifications:

- 1 - 3 year experience in Construction/Homebuilding Development accounting.
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and results-driven with the capacity to get things done.

This position is an in person, Monday to Friday in Concord, ON with Onsite Parking + Health & Dental coverage.

Pay: $54,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
