**Tasks**:
- Examine documents and conduct interviews to determine admissibility of persons seeking entry into Canada
- Ascertain facts on issues such as reason for loss of employment and availability for work
- Monitor payments of benefits throughout duration of claim
- Prepare briefs
- Research records, court files and other legal documents
- Prepare reports or case histories
- Manage contracts
- Interview client individually, in families, or in groups, to assess their situation and problems to determine the types of services required
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Conduct interviews
- Conduct research
- Collect information through interview, investigation and observation

- Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
- Interview clients, prepare case histories and assess problems

- Advise clients on legal proceedings
