About this Position

We are looking for a Licensing Liaison to join our Life Licensing Department.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

- Communicate with Agents and Regulators
- Key Paper IBAs as required
- Review outside activity for Life licensed agents and forward it to the province, issue appropriate letters and update ARTS as required
- Process renewals for eastern provinces, territories, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
- Process Agent contract and licence reinstatements and communicate with agents as to regulatory requirements to reinstate licence
- Process non-renewal terminations for the eastern provinces, territories, and Saskatchewan
- Help agents to move from one province to another
- Review outside activity to determine if conflicts of interest exists and determine the course of action
- Set up files in ARTS as required and include terms and conditions where applicable
- Run queries and provide numbers to Senior Management and Atlanta
- Run queries to identify address and name changes and communicate to agents their regulatory requirements
- Provide backup for SIN #9 IBA reviews
- Provide backup for Ontario renewals as required
- Miscellaneous duties as required

Qualifications:

- Post secondary education preferred or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of Canada wide Provincial Licensing Regulations is a definite asset
- Excellent organizational & time management skills with the ability to multi-task, continuously prioritize workflow and meet deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong cooperative and professional attitude
- A high-energy self-starter and shows initiative
- Able to thrive in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
