We are offering a 'hands on' position to the right kind of individual who will help build our growing company. Edmundson Transport is a flat-bed trucking company focused on providing excellent and reliable service. In transportation, there are countless factors that challenge our day-to-day success, and we require an Operations Assistant/Driver Liaison who is ready to help troubleshoot, and execute solutions with confidence. You will work directly with the Operations Manager to deal with a variety of issues. It’s a job where every day is different and there are always new challenges.

**You will be expected to**:

- Run errands outside the office to suppliers, mechanics, drivers, and customers. This will include tasks like picking up parts, escorting loads, assisting drivers with loads, and many other hands-on tasks requested by the Operations Manager.
- **_A G license is the minimum requirement_**. Preferably, the applicant will have an DZ/AZ license to help with unexpected issues and assisting drivers.
- Be able to learn new skills to assist drivers as directed by the Operations Manager.

**The successful applicant will have the following core skills**:

- Attentive Listener - Be able to take direction.
- A pre-existing knowledge of the trucking industry is a benefit but not required.
- Quick Learner - Must be open to learning new skills.
- Effective Communicator - Clear responses to direction and communicating any issues as they arise.
- Social and Professional - Representing the company well when coordinating with vendors and clients.
- Good and Positive Attitude
- Flexibility

**Salary**: Up to $50,000.00 per year
