- Perform pre-operational inspections.
- Ensure plant inspections (of premises, storage conditions, compliance with procedures and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices;
- Evaluate raw materials, packaging materials, mixtures and finished products according to established standards and follow up on non-conformances.
- Perform documentation, investigation and containment of non-conforming products;
- Perform operational inspections on production lines
- Carry out monitoring tasks (calibration of equipment and other tools, monitoring of interior and exterior premises);
- Follow up on non-conformities as they arise;
- Provide training in hygiene, good industrial practices and other specific activities related to CCP / prerequisite programs / and SQF;
- Organize and perform quality control of finished and in-process products according to established specifications;
- Perform food and environmental sampling in accordance with HACCP/SQF standards;
- Follow the results of analyses, communicate the information adequately to the various managers concerned and compile the results;
- Ensure the monitoring of completed forms and work methods within the framework of HACCP/SQF;
- Assist the Quality Manager during CFIA and third party audits;
- Perform all other related tasks;
**Profile sought**:

- Level of education: college program in food processing or equivalent
- Experience: min. 2 years experience in meat quality control
- Ability to take initiative and work with mínimal supervision
- Team player and easy to interact with
- Ability to communicate and provide training
- Salary: 20.00$ to 24.00$ / hour
- Languages: French and English
- Number of hours per week : 40 h.
- Status : Permanent
- Schedule : Daytime from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm / 5:30 am to 2:00 pm (in rotation)
