Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Match invoices with respective purchase orders/receipts, ensuring compliance with Petrie Ford’s policies and procedures
- Maintain vendor files and ensure documentation is accurately filed and archived
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues
- Assist with month-end closing
- Assisting with additional accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree/diploma in accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
