**Purpose**

Complete full cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, to ensure timely payment of invoices to both suppliers and service providers for CaraCo Group of Companies.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Process Accounts Payable Invoices**
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all company expenditures, including vendor invoices and employee reimbursement expenses on a regular basis.
- Obtain management approval of invoices, as required as a condition of processing, to ensure proper authorization of expenditures.
- Review all invoices for correct pricing; where pricing is incorrect, contact the vendor to resolve the issue.
- Verify three-way match among purchase order, packing slip and invoice.
- Prepare all 15th, 30th, and weekly payments for the accountant.
- Scan/Copy invoices as required.
- Provide administrative support for the department, including filing, photocopying, and mailing cheques.

**Reports**
- Prepare reports and corresponding documentation for the business for common area expense tracking.
- Maintenance of various accounting reports for tracking of expenses.
- Prepare other reports as requested.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Reconcile monthly vendor accounts payable statements prior to preparation of cheques (non-subcontractor).
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoicing, payment inquiries, and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all vendor invoices have appropriate approval and ensure payment terms are accurate.
- Verify receipt of material or services prior to processing of invoices.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system.
- Assist with additional finance requirements as needed.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proficient with MS Windows, Excel, Word.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of industry’s account principals and procedures.
- Administration skills.

**Education & Experience**
- College diploma with a specialization in finance, accounting, or business
- Minimum two years’ relevant work experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
