Metro Wallcoverings, the leading manufacturer and distributor of decorative commercial products to the Architect and Design community for over forty years, is looking for a Customer Service Representative for its Vancouver Office.

POSITION TITLE: Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Answer phones in a consistent and pleasant manner
- Have a professional demeanor in appearance and actions
- Write up orders and follow company policies regarding order requirements
- Process payments accurately following company polices
- Provide a point of contact for customers with order status inquires, changes and issues
- Liaise with the sales team regarding orders and customer issues
- Communicate with suppliers for stock, production and shipping times
- Follow up for sample and stock requests
- Assist in the receiving of orders and stock with an eye for damage or shortages
- Assist with shipping orders and sales product in a timely and cost effective manner
- Learn the product lines on the job and by self study

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

- Completed High School Degree
- 1+ years previous Customer Service experience
- Basic level of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Intermediate level typing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working with alpha numeric codes
- Able to move quickly and lift 40 lbs. multiple times
- Able to negotiate stairs and ladders with ease
- Ability to organize & prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Can work alone and in a team environment
