We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, translating them into technical requirements, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient solutions. This role requires strong communication skills and a talent for making complex technical information accessible to diverse audiences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and use cases.
- Create process flows, data models, and other documentation to illustrate system functionality and design.
- Evaluate and recommend technical solutions that align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and other technical team members to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and adherence to requirements.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including:
- **Internal documentation**: Technical specifications, system design documents, API documentation, training materials for internal teams.
- **External documentation**: User manuals, online help guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles for end-users.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 + years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Experience using documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Markdown).
The salary range for this position will be between **$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 CAD.**
