Buffalo Trail Public Schools Division is excited to launch the first year of our Human Services Collegiate and is seeking an **administrative assistant** to support this initiative. This position will be based out of the Buffalo Trail Learning Hub in Vermilion, Alberta. This is a flexible **part-time** opportunity.

**Position Details**:

- **Start Date**: August 27, 2025
- **End Date**: June 25, 2026
- **Location**: Buffalo Trail Learning Hub (Vermilion Outreach School), Vermilion, Alberta
- **Hours**: 3 hrs/day Monday to Friday, following the school calendar
- ** Deadline**: July 14, 2025

**Key Responsibilities** (will include but are not limited to):

- Provide clerical and administrative support to teachers and the principal
- Register students and maintain accurate data records, including high school CEU tracking
- Create, edit, and manage school documents and forms using Google Workspace and other relevant platforms
- Support asynchronous learning environments through Google Classroom organization and student tracking
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and digital content
- Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and community partners
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in document design and digital workflow management

**Qualifications and Desired Experience**:

- High School Diploma
- Diploma/Certificate in Office Administration or Business Administration (preferred)
- Experience working with Google Suite, Canva, PowerSchool and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
