The Pharmacy Services at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant for the Pharmacy services department. This position reports to, and provides direct high-level administrative support to the Director, some of which may be confidential in nature. This position will also be responsible for providing core administrative support as required to the Managers and Pharmacy Leadership Team members that report to the Director; liaising with other internal CAMH departments (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, EVS, ENGIE, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Redevelopment and Research Office) to ensure consistency with CAMH administrative processes and requirements, and to support the operation efficiency of the Inpatient, Outpatient and Research Pharmacy.

The Administrative Assistant will also support and contribute to a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages, teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 1001 Queen Street West.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelors Degree or Community College diploma/certificate in a related field
- 3-5 years of secretarial/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision
- Superior interpersonal, planning, time management, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure, deal with conflicting priorities, and coordinate projects to tight deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to proofread documents, and write meeting summaries and other documents for both internal and external audiences
- Demonstrated high degree of confidentiality, tact and discretion in all situations
- Proven skills and experience in the successful organization of events ranging from small to large scale
- Strong financial skills and previous experience tracking expenditures and monitoring budgets
- Demonstrated commitment to principles of equity, inclusivity, respect and social justice
- Demonstrated success working within inter-professional teams and in partnership with groups such as service providers, people with lived experience and decision-makers
- The ability to work with stakeholders of diverse cultural and social backgrounds is necessary
- Familiarity with Ontario’s Mental Health and Addiction system/services
- Knowledge of clinical/medical terminology and equipment is an asset.
