Part Time Bookkeeper

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero or Sage for efficient record-keeping.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and expenses.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and analysis.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Prepare financial reports as needed for management review.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero or Sage is a plus).
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for budgeting and account analysis.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
