Optima Living operates over 2,200 beds providing congregate living options for seniors. These options range from subsidized to luxury, Independent to Assisted Living, Long-term Care to Memory Care, and Residential Mental Health.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and complete financial reports and pricing proposals
- Evaluate existing Asset Management policies and procedures, identify best establish practices are being met and in compliance with Optima Living objectives, provide updates accordingly
- Negotiating various contracts with vendors on quality, price, and delivery
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory for all goods and services ordered and received
- Create purchase orders, calculate all orders costs and evaluate invoices for accuracy
- Communicate the value of strategic Asset Management to key stakeholders
- Prepare and update reports, records and price lists
- Develop and maintain relationships, internally and externally, effectively collaborating with multiple business units within the organization
- Other duties as assigned
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 5 years of procurement experience required
- A background in accounting is considered an asset
- Mastery of risk management, previous project management experience an asset
- Proficient with key procurement software, systems and advanced Excel knowledge required
- Thorough understanding of sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance them
- Impeccable time-management skillset, with the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates and supports the Vision, Mission, and Values of Optima Living
- Clear Police Background Check
- COVID-19 vaccination. This requirement will be waived if you did not receive the vaccination due to any legislated protected human rights grounds.
