**Kitchen Steward**

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Steward. A Kitchen Steward's primary role is to set the stage for the culinary team to deliver excellent customer service to our guests and customers. The primary duties include washing dishes, preparing meal ingredients, and maintaining the kitchen.

**Key Responsibilities**

**_ Reporting to the Executive Chef:_**
- Assists in food preparation (vegetables, salads, sandwiches);
- Replenishes the buffets (if applicable) and clears food items from the buffets;
- Assists with kitchen mis-en-place;
- Ensures all food items meet hotel/company standards;
- Assists with the daily operation of the hot/cold production line;
- Assists dishwasher as needed with the washing of all dishes, pots/pans, flatware, glasses, and waste removal;
- General cleaning of kitchen, kitchen equipment, and surrounding areas;
- Assists with daily delivery of food and supplies to the team member lounge (if applicable);
- Operates in accordance with all health and safety precautions and standards;
- Cleans workstation at the end of every shift
- Any other duties as instructed by the Executive Chef or Manager on Duty, including food preparation.

**What We are Looking for...**
- Previous experience not required;
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays;
- Demonstrated pattern of good attendance;
- Thorough and detail-oriented;
- Ability to stay organized in a multi-tasking environment;
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision;
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
