We are currently recruiting for **Bartenders** to work in our **Stages Restaurant & Lounge** Located in the heart of one of Toronto’s most vibrant neighborhoods, the Pantages Hotel welcomes locals and travelers alike, who are here to shop, dine or catch a show - it’s a busy and buzzing place to work. **Bartender’s Key Responsibilities**:

- Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, taking orders and serving drinks.
- Assist in the planning and presentation of the bar menu.
- Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Check customer ID when in doubt, ensuring legislative compliance.
- Keep bar area clean and tidy, ensuring our customers see a well-run bar area.
- Assist servers with running food and/or clearing the patio as needed. We’re all about teamwork
- Maintain liquor inventory and consumption.
- Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts; follow cash handling procedures.
- Stay customer-focused and nurture a positive customer experience.
- Keep it light and fun, ensuring everyone has a really great time at the pool/bar.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications for the Role**:

- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a busy environment is required.
- Knowledge of drink menu and drink preparation.
- Excellent communication and positive attitude.
- Proven customer service skills and resolving customer concerns.
- Strong organization skills and a proficient multi-tasker.
- Must be legally authorized to serve alcohol and must have Smart Serve Certification.
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
