Join our team as Executive Chef where you can showcase your culinary expertise while leading a dedicated team in delivering exceptional dining experience
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring a high standard of food production and presentation.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to diverse dietary needs.
- Manage inventory control and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to foster a positive team environment.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during events and regular dining hours.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets all food safety standards.
- Handle catering orders and special events, ensuring all aspects of food service are executed flawlessly.
- Monitor food costs and waste management to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Lead by example in cooking techniques, presentation, and customer service excellence.
- Hiring,training and managing the kitchen team.
- Achieving financial success through sales targets,labour costs,food costs and inventory.
- Work closely with GM and Senior Management.
**Requirements**:
- Italian cooking experience required.
- Minimum 4 years in an executive role in an upscale casual or fine dining.
- Extensive background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management is highly desirable.
- Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated skills in team management and shift management.
- Familiarity with dietary department operations and menu planning for various dietary restrictions is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices, food production techniques, and culinary arts is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments within the hospitality sector.
- A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required. Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional culinary artistry

- Currently located in Vancouver.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
