You will provide legal administrative support to primarily one lawyer in the area of personal injury law, but may assist additional lawyers as required. Your responsibilities will include:

- preparing legal documents including pleadings;
- preparing and organizing legal correspondence;
- attending to procedural rules around filing and serving legal documents;
- preparing, organizing, and maintaining necessary file information;
- corresponding with clients; and
- maintaining an extensive “bring forward” system.

**Position Requirements**:

- at least 15 years of legal experience in progressively responsible legal assistant positions;
- thorough knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology;
- superior knowledge of business English, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic;
- ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands;
- ability to complete multiple concurrent tasks with tight deadlines;
- superior interpersonal and judgment skills;
- ability to learn further software related to the job;
- general office duties including providing reception relief to our receptionist during breaks and vacation; and
- strong knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures.

**Hours of Work**: 8:30 to 4:30 or 9 to 5, Monday to Friday
