The HR Generalist, reporting to the Human Resources Manager, is a key contributor in our Human Resources department, primarily focusing on the recruitment process, managing payroll processes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. This role requires a dedicated professional who excels in sourcing and hiring top talent and efficiently managing HR operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment and Staffing**: Spearhead the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring, with a commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
**Employee Relations**: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
**Training Records Management**: Maintain accurate and comprehensive training records, and coordinate training programs.
**HR Compliance**: Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, and advise on HR policy updates.
**HR Administration**: Manage HR documentation, such as contracts and employee records, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
**Payroll and Benefits Administration**: Support payroll processing and respond to employee benefits inquiries.
**Education & Experience Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in recruitment, with a proven track record in sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent.
- CHRP/CHRL is considered an asset.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Expertise in recruitment and general HR functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
