Element5 is currently seeking an HR Generalist to support a full range of human resources functions across our St. Thomas and Toronto locations. This is a hands-on, well-rounded role providing exposure across the full employee lifecycle in a manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with leaders, support employee relations, recruitment, and compliance activities, and work collaboratively within an HR team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
Partner with leaders on employee relations matters, coaching, investigations, and documentation
Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles
Support compliance with Ontario employment legislation and internal HR policies
Assist with benefits administration, RRSP programs, and leave management
Support WSIB reporting, claims, and return-to-work activities
Assist with the Processing of payroll using ADP
Collaborate with the HR Administrator, who supports training records, onboarding, and HR documentation
Qualifications
~2-3 years of experience in a true HR Generalist role
~ Strong employee relations and recruitment experience
~ Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
~ Exposure to payroll and HR systems (ADP is an asset)
~ Experience supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset
~ CHRP designation or working toward it is an asset
