Abilities Community Services has a number of Casual positions for a skilled Residential Support Worker supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in their home.

Our Residential positions operate on the following 12 hour rotation schedule: Overnight positions starting at 7pm to 7am, day position starting 7am to 7pm.
- **Note: Applicants Must Be Fully Vaccinated**

**Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to**:

- Supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Work on goals contained in Person Centred Plans
- Take part in planning options for participants
- De-escalation
- Food and meal preparation
- Household chores
- Medication administration
- Personal care
- Any other tasks as may be necessary
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must be willing to work rotation schedule and some weekends

**Qualifications**:

- Current First Aid/CPR Level C
- Food Safe
- Live in/can commute to Victoria, BC
- A clean criminal reference check
- Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
- Non Violent Intervention Training
- CSW diploma or relevant work experience
- BC Class 5 drivers license

**Compensation**:

- This position is in an union environment.
- Wage will be determined by the number of years/hours that you have worked under the Community Living Services Collective Agreement

Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Working with people with autism: 2 years (preferred)
- De-escalation: 2 years (preferred)
