**Hours**: 37.5 hr/week

Taking care of our environment has never been more important than it is today. The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is looking for a Project Coordinator to join a team committed to protecting our most important natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.

NCC is the nation’s leading not-for-profit, private land conservation organization, working to protect our most important natural areas and the species they sustain. Since 1962, we have brought people together to conserve and restore more than 15 million hectares across Canada. NCC takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to achieve conservation success for the sake of nature and Canadians. With a national office in Toronto and seven regional offices across the country, NCC delivers results you can walk on.

NCC recognizes that we work on lands that have long been cared for by Indigenous Peoples under their own laws and knowledge systems. We are committed to transforming how we do our work, advancing Reconciliation through conservation, and working with Indigenous Peoples in meaningful, respectful, and supportive ways.

**Why do we need you at CNC?**

- Organize waste clean-up events, invasive alien species control projects, and natural environment restoration and management activities.
- Raise awareness among private landowners of the need to adopt best practices in forest, agricultural, riparian and wetland areas, through face-to-face meetings, field visits, personalized documentation and public presentations.
- Supervise the work of students in the field during the summer season to provide them with a positive internship experience.
- Represent CNC in external relations and with the public to inspire communities to volunteer in their sector.

**These SKILLS hold no secrets for you**
- Experience in biology, conservation or environment-related fields.
- Excellent spoken and written French and English.
- Identification of at-risk fauna and flora species.
- Ability to use cartographic tools and get by in the field.

- Organizational skills, ability to identify and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**What CNC has to offer**
- Group insurance, medical and dental expenses, virtual health care, employee assistance program
- Group RRSP (CNC matches employee contributions up to 5-6% of gross income)
- Three weeks off, plus one week during the holiday season, 12 statutory holidays, 10 sick days, and two nature days to enjoy the great outdoors
