For our client, Department of National Defence (DND), we are seeking a **Junior Project Manager** to support a Minor Project with the Department of National Defence (DND) - Directorate of Aerospace Equipment Program Management (DAEPM), Radar & Communication Systems (R&CS). The role focuses on modernizing Air Traffic Management infrastructure across Canadian Forces Bases. Some travel will require out of National Capital Region.

**Duration**:4 years (240 days/year)

**Security Level**: Secret

**Tentative Start Date**: October 15, 2025

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- Minimum 36 months’ experience (within last 72 months) in:

- Project planning, coordination, timelines, risk, budgets, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Managing budgets over $2.5M and using records/document management tools (e.g., RDIMS, SAP, SharePoint).
- Relevant post-secondary education (degree/diploma) with supporting documentation.
- Strong written and oral communication in English.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, coordinate, and track project management activities (budget, timelines, risks, deliverables).
- Prepare reports, project documentation, evaluation plans, and stakeholder updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to the Technical Authority.
- Support minor projects as required.

**Assets**:

- Professional certifications in project management.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, or government projects.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 48 months

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
