**ORDER DESK/SHOWROOM SALESPERSON**

Position hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

**Our Company**

Elegant Flooring is a Halifax-based tile wholesaler that caters to retailers, architects, and designers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Order Desk/ Showroom Salesperson to work from our Bedford Highway Location. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.

**Primary Responsibilities Include**:

- Processing counter sales; taking and posting payments
- Filing, scanning documents, and additional clerical tasks as required
- Helping Customers select flooring in the showroom
- Assisting clients in finding a variety of choices to meet their requirements by providing helpful and knowledgeable options
- Redirecting phone inquiries as necessary
- Maintaining showroom order & cleanliness

**Skills / Abilities Include**
- Having an aptitude for colors and design is a definite asset
- Computer literacy
- Professionalism
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of the flooring industry as an asset
- Must be Punctual
- Positive and friendly attitude

**Compensation**: Commensurate with experience. Benefits are available after 3 months.
