**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities** **& Tasks**
- Operate cash register
- Process money and credit/debit card payments
- Scan items
- Tabulate the total payment for goods or services required
- Receive payment for goods or services
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Suggestive selling
- Stock shelves and clean the counter area, and do general cleaning.
- Greet customers
- Participate in promotional activities
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with fueling their vehicles.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including the fueling area and convenience store.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Provide product demonstrations and information to customers regarding available products.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about the products offered at the gas station
