JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Operations Manager and the Customer Service Supervisor, the role of the Administrative Operations Support is to assist with the day to day operations in the office. This person will be well versed in all aspects of Office Administration and be highly organized. The Administrative Operations Support will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties will include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities.

Shift - 9am-5pm

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with the checking of pallet count on BOL’s
- Office filing of paperwork
- Printing of waves
- Maintaining wave spreadsheet
- Create plaque cards for check station (waves)
- Ship with invoice
- Enter receivings on spreadsheet
- Reception duties as assigned. Answering phone, filing, directing calls
- Assist with the employee hour tracking
- Remittances of timesheets and invoices
- Employee card set ups (iwhse, ITR)
- Orientation paperwork - Full Time Employees
- Manage agency paperwork, time sheets and communication with Agency
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Perform data entry and scan documents
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
- Run company’s errands to post office and office supply store
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
- Other duties as required

**EDUCATION**:

- Two-year College or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 2 years general office experience, including telephone techniques and computer skills, in a customer service environment is required

**CORE COMPETENCIES**:

- Proven communication skills both verbal and written in English.
- Approachable, positive interpersonal style.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of office equipment, including Micro soft Office. (Word/Excel).
- Proven knowledge of Red Prairie systems in a Logistics role.
- Service oriented with strong customer interaction skills and commitment.
- Ability to make sound decisions independently to obtain desired results.
- Great time Management skills.
